 Toyota Motor and Suzuki will produce a new compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) developed by Suzuki in August at Toyota's Indian plant. The annual production is 200,000 units, and it is developed by both Toyota and Suzuki brands. It also plans to launch it outside India, including in Africa. The low-power and high-power hybrid systems that both companies are working on will be installed in vehicles of both brands. This is the first time Suzuki has adopted Toyota's hybrid system in India.
