This is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, a special illumination event will be held at Tokyo Tower on the night of January 31, 2022 (Monday).

In addition to the illumination, two Chinese characters that spell "future" in Japanese and Chinese appear on the south side of the large observatory.

This is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China. It also includes the "Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Games," which will open on February 4th (Friday), and a wish for the early termination of the coronavirus.

Unfortunately, the opening ceremony cannot be visited due to the spread of the new coronavirus, but it will be broadcast live on YouTube.

Don't miss the performance by Tao, the drummer of the comedy duo BICSMALLN and the Japanese drum performance group.

If you want to see the lights up close, visit the tower on the night of the 31st.

The exact schedule hasn't been announced yet, but I'll tell you more in this article as soon as it's decided.
